I have come across
so, so many folks
who have told me
that they cannot write...
Be it prose or poetry,
or such from their hearts.
I have come across
so many folks,
yearning to express themselves
as they feel that I eloquently do.
Yet, I know one thing.
And that one thing that I know
is that it is within everyone
to translate their emotions into
words...
to translate their aspirations into
actions...
That is, if one is willing to that is.
Oh!
All that I can recommend to folks
is that they write as if their
lives depended on their doing so...
To write as if their lives
depended on what they write
and express, and share
with their fellow men and women.
All too complicated we have become,
when we should know better
and just write as we are,
right as we are.
Oh!
Stop wondering,
stop second-guessing yourselves...
and just write!
Write what your heart
begs you to write.
Write what your soul
aches for you to write too...
Oh man!
Write
just write!
Just put yourself out there
and share.
Just put your heart on the line
and share your words of love and care...
Oh man!
Write
