There's Nothing Quite Like Love...

There's nothing quite like love to make you smile,
wider than you've ever smiled before, most joyfully;
there's nothing quite like love to make you run
further than you have ever run before, powerfully.

There's nothing quite like love to make you dream
that most audacious dream, that fantasy, that marvel
you've always been hoping for, praying for, for sure;
beyond loving someone else like in some actor's role.

There's nothing quite like love to make you reconsider
all you're worth, all you stand for, all you might believe;
there's nothing quite like love to bring out the very best
of you - your heart, your soul, your truth - be relieved...

When she loves you, when she holds you deep
in her arms, despite your petty charms, sleep
now in the borrows of her heart, still, yet so very
vibrant and pleased for that true love that flows.

Rest son, rest father - in the tender embrace of she
who loves you for so much more than you may ever
believe that you are - rest now, rest easy, for your
heart shall awaken soon - to claim her as your lover.

There's nothing quite like love to make you recognize, truth
from lies - control from freedom, laughs from cries - for sure;
there's nothing quite like love to make both partners feel
that there can never, ever be, a more acceptable cure.

There's nothing quite like love to reaffirm all we stand for
before the Almighty Lord, waiting, watching, praying, for all
to rise above oneself - and to live for the very highest of virtues;
noble and true, undying and proud, to respond to His call.
