The magnitude
of the love that some folks can express -
so very often, completely, humbles me.
The magnitude
of the generousity that some folks often too, display -
so very often, utterly humbles me too!
If I were an alien,
God, I'd so dearly aspire to be a human too!
Oh God,
how desperately I'd wish to be like you - a human!
Oh, if I were an alien,
I'd want so very badly want to learn to love
as only humans seem so eloquently able to.
Oh, if I were an alien,
I'd want to know everything and about,
that which makes you - uniquely you!
So lucky you are,
that you are not an alien.
So fortunate you are too,
that you're so privileged to be human.
Never forget this...
meanwhile, my ship awaits me,
to take me once again to
such worlds which may yet, humble me too.
